Engineering Projects in Community Service (EPICS) is a program offered by the Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD). EPICS partners with nonprofit organizations to design, develop, and deliver technical projects that benefit the community.
EPICS collaborates with 501(c)(3) organizations, educational institutions, and governmental agencies to offer engineering and computer science expertise. This partnership enables these entities to integrate technology into their daily operations and to solve critical problems impacting directly the people they serve. To find out about current and past projects please visit the UTDesign EPICS website.
Project proposals are always accepted on a rolling basis. All EPICS projects start either in August (fall semester) or January (spring semester) as long as there is room to accept new projects.
Once your project proposal is received, the EPICS team will set up a meeting with the contact person in the form. For questions regarding the application or project, please contact Andrea Turcatti, Program Director for UTDesign EPICS, at turcatti@utdallas.edu.
